What is the Daily Challenge?
The daily turns a solo arcade into a shared arena: same maze, same ghosts, same day - everybody racing the identical puzzle.
One run, everyone
Each day's challenge is generated deterministically from the date, so the ghost behavior seed you get is byte-for-byte what everyone else gets. Scores are directly comparable - you're not just good, you're good on the same run everyone else faced. Play it on the daily page.
Streaks and the daily board
Clear today's run and your score lands on the daily board. Signed-in players build a streak that survives closing the tab; guests can post a display name too. At midnight UTC the challenge resets and yesterday's puzzle is gone for good.
Why it's a great habit
One maze, one attempt at a ranked score, done in minutes - a bite-sized ritual with a real scoreboard. It pairs naturally with multiplayer for live head-to-head and the all-time boards for lifetime bests.

How does multiplayer Pacman work?
You and a friend get the identical maze and ghost seed on your own devices and race to clear it first. Create a private room, share the link or 6-letter code, ready up, and go - live progress bars show the pellet race in real time.
Is Pacman.free really free?
Completely. Every game mode, the daily challenge, the leaderboards and online multiplayer are free to play in your browser, with no download and no signup. An optional free account only adds cross-device stats and a permanent name on the leaderboard.
What is a good Pacman score?
On a single maze, 2,000-3,000 points means you cleared it cautiously; 4,000-6,000 means you took fruit and some ghost chains; above that you're squeezing near-full value from every power pellet. The famous arcade perfect score - every pellet, fruit and chain on all 255 boards - is 3,333,360.
